on blatant art theft

deviantART is my homepage, so every time I open my browser, I see new art that's being uploaded. Whenever I see something I like, I click on it. It seems like eight times out of ten, when I see something and go, "Wow, that's pretty good!" and then click on it, it ends up being art theft by some stupid-ass deviant who just can't comprehend that YOU DON'T UPLOAD OTHER PEOPLE'S ARTWORK TO YOUR ACCOUNT, LOL. I guess I didn't really think it was that difficult.

It just makes me fucking sick. And people comment on stolen art like, "Wow, that's so good!" and favourite it and stuff. That's ridiculous.

So I'm taking a vow.. or I guess.. I already have, but anyway, I'm fucking sick of watching stupid deviants upload things that aren't theirs. So anytime I see art theft (which is DAILY, for sure), I sweep the entire gallery of that person and report EVERY deviation that's in violation of something. I've been doing this for a while now-- I definitely report a whole big handful of pieces almost daily, and I've yet to have a mod come back to me and tell me that I was reporting things that I shouldn't be.

So I encourage you to do the same. Because I just can't believe some of the crap that goes on on this site.

As the signs all over downtown here in Madison say, "OUR BADGER EYES ARE WATCHING." :O lulz.

That's stupid... I guess I've just never had a problem with the reporting system. :shrug: Must be my luck? Haha.

I've rarely seen stolen stuff... but maybe that's just because I don't know the stuff that they stole from. lol

Haha, I don't always know it either.. but a lot of times, if you look at the rest of their gallery, it's easy to tell when the artwork isn't theirs. Or even if you just read the description sometimes... I don't know.

Haha I decided to give it a try after reading this and boom right on the HP someone uploaded art with a wartermark from someones site >.> and it wasnt even as good as the other stuff that she faked but much better than the other stuff that she drew herself XD

im constantly reporting things ive found are stolen.... that, and ive gotten friends to help me report the two child pornography pages i found on here..... '6 yr old in only leopard print panties with her leg pulled over her head, and dude's gonna try to tell me its not blatantly sick. 'his description all, "shes so sweet it makes me want to cry..."....wtf?! the most disturbing part was every pic in his gallery was like that, and every one of them had atleast 60 views....so....why the fk was his page still up? over 60 people viewed his photos of semi naked lil girls, on the beach, in the tub, and not even 3 people found anything wrong with them....?! 'fkn sick, some of the crap on here...
